UV Blood
Irradiation Therapy
This
therapy also has wonderful bio-oxidative effects on the immune system. This
therapy is in demand for those patients who are immune depressed and for those
with resistant strains of bacteria that do not respond to antibiotic therapy.
U.V.B. is administered by drawing 50 to 60 ccs or more of venous blood through
a special tube placed in an UV generator. In this closed system the blood is
exposed for 5 to 8 minutes then injected to the body. The newly energized blood
stimulates other blood cells as it moves through the circulatory system. This
results in tremendous hemodynamic effects i.e. increased number of RBCs, increased
hemoglobin, increased WBCs, increased lymphocytes, decreased blood viscosity,
and many other benefits. U.V.B. therapy is useful in asthma, viral illnesses,
bacterial infections, psoriasis, general detoxification, cancer and many more.
